Deleting a resource

If a resource (application or DBMS) is no longer needed, it can be deleted. Deleting a resource will stop all its containers and also delete all data for that project.

Attention

Once deleted, resource data cannot be restored! Carefully check that you are deleting the project you want!

To delete a resource, on its page in the «Settings» tab, you need to click the «Delete project» button:

In the dialog box that opens, enter the line delete permanently <project-name> to confirm. The entered string is checked in a case-insensitive manner.

Inserting a verification phrase into a field is prohibited, so you will have to type it in its entirety yourself. This is needed as a last line of defense against actions by mistake.

For those who perceive the ban on copying as a challenge 😊

You can disable the copying ban in any way known to you, and then copy the verification line. But even if you do this, we will achieve our goal: you won’t mindlessly click on the “Yes, delete” button and then think “Oh, wrong project! What should I do?”

Deleting a project may take some time. When the work is completed, the project will disappear from your list of projects.
